The difference between PE and PVDF
- PEis generally used indoors, guaranteed for 10 years. PVDFis generally used outdoors and are guaranteed for 15-20 years.
- PEis only single and double-coated, PVDFincludes double-coated and three coated
- PEis cheap, PVDFcoating is expensive
- PEis mostly used for coil, PVDFcoating is mostly used for plate
- PEis more common on the market, and the price is cheap
- PE coating gloss is high, and can reach more than 90%
- PE coating can only be single or double-coated, coated too thin shelf life is very short, coated too thick easy to caking

coating:
- Silver mirrors generally have no coating and have a reflectivity of 85% – 90%.
- Gold, light gold, tea gold, and black coatings are 12-14 microns. There is no need to clean the mirror roll after it is rolled back. The coating can be applied directly. Cleaning will affect the surface. The reflectivity is about 80%.
Lamination:
Commonly used membrane colors are blue and yellow, both of medium and low viscosity.

Wood grain and stone grain mainly depends on customer samples, The coating thickness of imitation stone/wood grain is generally about 35 microns, which consists of primer, color coating and varnish. At the same time, its coating quantity needs to be confirmed based on customer samples.

Brushed:
- The brushingprocess and the embossing process are done on one machine
- For embossing, firstis coating and then embossing. For brushing, first isbrushing and then coating.
Drawing difference
- Real brushed：thickness requires 0.22 – 1.2mm, with obvious brushed feel and thicker lines.
- Fake brushed：no thickness requirements. It is made with a brushed pattern roller. It has no hand feel and fine lines.
